| Northeast Georgia Arts and Convention Center

The Northeast Georgia Arts and Convention Center is currently in the design phase and is scheduled to begin construction in mid-2008. The facility will be centrally located at the intersection of Georgia Highway 316 (University Parkway) and Georgia Highway 53 in Barrow County. The facility will house a 750-seat theater, with the utmost attention being paid to acoustic properties and theater equipment, and a 40,000 square foot Exhibit/Convention Center.

| Walton County's new 160,000 s.f. Government Building houses all County Office. The project was funded completely by SPLOST monies with a Total Project Cost: $ 14,700,000.00. The project was completed on time and within budget and the building sits on a 25-acre site with room for expansion.

Walton County Law Enforcement Center
|
The current addition to the Walton County Law Enforcement Center will add 240 beds to the 90 man jail and will include a New Public Entrance; Visitation Center; Medical Offices; Laundry; Recreation room; Multi-purpose Room; Crime Lab; Vehicle Impound; and Control Room supervising four Cell Pods of 60 beds each.
